Today, I filed for re-election with the following statement:
It is a great privilege to serve as alderman in an energetic, forward-thinking community like Carrboro. Over the past five years, I have provided leadership and innovative proposals in such areas as economic development, housing affordability, transportation alternatives, sustainability, and social justice. I have worked hard to research issues, stay in touch with concerned citizens, and forge effective policy in collaboration with my colleagues. I plan a vigorous campaign to bring this record to the voters and hope they will honor me with another term.
